Reclaimed wood flooring can be installed in planks or it can be milled into tongue and groove. Experienced craftsmen manufacture precision tongue and groove, end-matched flooring from the reclaimed framing and decking of warehouses of the past. The end-matching step is important, as it is an extra step that few heart pine flooring manufacturers offer. End-matching helps a flooring installer lay a better fitting floor because the flooring arrives ready to be installed and each plank does not have to be “squared” by the installer. Increasing the ease of installation reduces installation costs for the homeowner.
Old Mississippi Brick & Heart Pine solid flooring is ½” to ¾” thick and ranges in width from 3” to 12”. Each board is kiln-dried to make certain that it is the correct dryness prior to installation. The entire solid flooring line at Old Mississippi Brick & Heart Pine is stress-relieved by moulding channels on the reverse face. It is precision moulded, graded, packaged and shipped to you by experienced flooring craftsmen that take pride in every square foot of flooring we produce.
In addition we offer limited volumes of quarter-sawn, reclaimed, antique heart pine which represents the highest grade of flooring we manufacture. In addition to reclaimed, antique heart pine we also offer limited volumes of Reclaimed Antique Oak and Reclaimed Hard Maple flooring recovered from these historical structures.
